  4. The Great Auk, Knowledge Master of Ceremonies, has a question for you. Select your subject area and select a question for the day!
  5. How Stuff Works is a great site on the web that explains... well, how stuff works! Each weekday the author answers questions submitted by readers. For example on October 28, 2003 the question was, "What makes your arms, legs and feet fall asleep?"
  6. Look on the chalkboard at Math Cats to see the question of the day - Just wave your magic wand (cursor) over the mixed up letters on their chalkboard to see the answer.
  7. Nye Labs (Home of Bill Nye the Science Guy) has a Question (and answer) of the week. Click on Qw (#2)
  8. Old Farmer's Almanac asks a question each day. Not only do they ask a question each day they also have daily advice, puzzle, gardening question and a featured word each day. Scroll to see the Question of the Day. They also have a QOD archive listing many types of questions, or a seven day archive.

Physics Question of the Week from The University of Maryland Department of Physics - Each week a new question will be posted and the answer for the previous Question of the Week will be shown.The questions involve real experimental physics, so part of the answers will be photographs and even short videos of the experiments carried out in determining the answers.

  13. Who's Who and What's What - Current events quiz based on the NY Times. See what you know about the images. Each image relates to an article published on The New York Times on the Web. There are links to the articles referenced in the quizzes.
